Mid Ruby Developer (Rails/Remote)

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer in a start-up environment

•  Experience with Ruby and the Rails framework

•  Experience with full web stack including HTTP, CSS, REST

•  Knowledge of Docker and docker-based deployment

•  Working knowledge and experience with AWS is preferred

•  Experience with SQL backends, preferably Postgres

•  Autonomous, critical thinker with razor-sharp problem-solving skills

•  Team player that leaves their ego at the door

 

Nice to have

• Experience working remotely

• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. minitest)

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment

• Experience with git branching, merging, and deployments (GitHub)
